<p>completamente basato su microprocessore, consente di regolare il rapporto aria/carburante nelle differenti condizioni di funzionamento del motore. L’algoritmo di controllo determina, al fine di minimizzare le emissioni e per ottenere le migliori prestazioni, più parametri per regolare gli spostamenti e le velocità dello step-motor in relazione a differenti fattori: tipo di motore, tipo di miscelatore, posizione dello step-motor e velocità di rotazione del motore.<br />
Durante la fase di riscaldamento del sensore ossigeno, il sistema è attivo ed il controllo del rapporto aria/carburante inizia quando il sensore invia un segnale coerente. Questo modo di attivare il controllo, non basato solamente sul tempo trascorso dalla accensione del motore, risolve i problemi di invecchiamento del sensore di ossigeno nonché quelli associati a frequenti fasi di start/stop. La massima portata gassosa dello step-motor è regolata senza la presenza del registro: questo consente una maggiore regolazione del rapporto aria/carburante. Il sistema è adattivo e i dati memorizzati durante la fase di calibrazione possono essere modificati in relazione all’invecchiamento del motore e dei suoi componenti. Questa caratteristica consente di mantenere il corretto rapporto aria/carburante senza la necessità di periodiche calibrazioni meccaniche.<br />
Per ottenere le migliori prestazioni, il sistema può effettuare controlli complessi: ad esempio controlli open-loop durante le fasi che lo richiedono. Il sistema, durante la fase di calibrazione individua l’area di lavoro dello step-motor e permette di salvaguardare il funzionamento del motore anche in caso di parziale avaria del sensore di ossigeno o di altri componenti. Durante questa fase individua, inoltre, automaticamente il TPS anche se può essere installato su autovetture che ne sono prive. Infine è dotato di un apposito segnale per simulare il sensore di ossigeno.</p>

<p>Il tester, collegato alla centralina del sistema LAMBDA GAS ECOLOGIC SYSTEM (DL401), consente all&#8217;installatore di calibrare il funzionamento del suddetto sistema.<br />
Successivamente consente di verificarne il corretto funzionamento. Finite le regolazioni di taratura si deve utilizzare l&#8217;analizzatore dei gas di scarico per il controllo delle emissioni di HC e CO, che devono rientrare nei limiti di legge.</p>

<p>   The gas coming from the tank reaches the vaporiser at the liquid state. Its pressure is reduced following the laminar process, going from the liquid state to the gaseous state. Heat taken from the engine’s cooling liquid is necessary for the complete transformation.<br />
   For this purpose, the Hèrcules single-stage vaporizer comes with a large surface of heat exchange that allows the complete gasification process to take place even in more demanding situations (low room temperature, large amount of fuel for long trips).</p>

<p>For the correct functioning of the system, the difference in pressure between the engine’s vaporizer outlet and the intake manifold must be kept constant.  This is so that the absolute pressure in the intake manifold (called MAP which is short for Manifold Absolute Pressure) increases with the increase of the engine load. Therefore, if the pressure exiting from the vaporizer remains constant, then the pressure difference is reduced and subsequently the gas flow supplied. This occurs via a “compensation” circuit which connects the chamber containing the contrast spring with the engine&#8217;s intake manifold via a small rubber tube. The connection between the rubber tube and the intake manifold is created with a special brass union.<br />
   Two sensors are installed on the vaporizer: a piezoresistive pressure sensor and a thermoresistive sensor. The first detects the pressure difference between the vaporizer and the intake manifold, while the second detects the temperature of the LPG in the gasification chamber. The signals sent by the two sensors help the gas ECU to calculate the gas injection times.<br />
   The pressure signal is also used by the gas ECU to carry out the automatic changeover to petrol if the LPG tank gets empty.<br />
   Finally, the temperature signal is also used by the gas ECU to detect the changeover temperature.</p>

<p>Il Commutatore è quel dispositivo che consete la commutazione dell&#8217;alimentazione da Benzina a GPL e Viceversa<br />
Realizzato con tecnica a microprocessore è caratterizzato da una semplice operatività sia in fase di installazione che in fase di utilizzo.<br />
Viene fornito in due versioni:<br />
<span style="color: #3366ff;"><strong>DCS105</strong></span> – per auto a carburatore. Il commutatore è dotato di dispositivo “Safety-Car” che evita l’apertura dell’elettrovalvola Gpl se il motore si spegne accidentalmente.<br />
<span style="color: #3366ff;"><strong>DCS106</strong></span> - per auto ad iniezione. L’avviamento del motore viene effettuato sempre a benzina e il passaggio a gas avviene automaticamente superando un determinato numero di giri, che viene regolato al momento dell’installazione.  Collegandolo al sensore di livello della multivalvola, il dispositivo fornisce l’indicazione, tramite led luminosi, della quantità di gas presente nel serbatoio.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">   Il gas proveniente dal serbatoio giunge al riduttore allo stato liquido. Qui subisce una riduzione di pressione in seguito a laminazione, passando dallo stato liquido a quello aeriforme. Affinché tale trasformazione avvenga in modo completo è necessario apportare calore prelevato dal liquido di raffreddamento del motore.<br />
   Perciò il riduttore Hèrcules, tipo monostadio, è dotato di una generosa superficie di scambio termico che permette una completa gasificazione anche nelle situazioni d’uso più gravose (bassa temperatura ambiente, carico elevato per lunghi tratti di percorrenza). </p>

<p style="text-align: left;">    Sul riduttore sono installati due sensori, uno di pressione tipo piezoresistivo e l’altro di temperatura tipo termoresistivo. Il primo rileva la differenza di pressione tra il riduttore e il collettore di aspirazione, Il secondo rileva la temperatura del GPL nella camera di gasificazione. I segnali inviati dai due sensori, supportano la ECU gas nel calcolo dei tempi di iniezione gas.<br />
   Il segnale di pressione è anche utilizzato dalla ECU gas per effettuare la commutazione automatica a benzina in caso di esaurimento del GPL contenuto nel serbatoio.<br />
   Infine, il segnale di temperatura è anche utilizzato dalla ECU gas per rilevare la temperatura di commutazione.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Some of the functions are described below:<br />
a. It commands the functioning of the gas electro-injectors. The gas injection times are calculated by the gas ECU which receives them from the corresponding petrol injection times coming from the original ECU. Therefore, the gas ECU imitates the petrol ECU and realises the master/slave operation of the LPG system.<br />
b. It interrupts and emulates the functioning of the original petrol injectors while the system is switched in gas mode. The petrol injectors must be interrupted to prevent petrol being injected during the gas functioning. The emulation is necessary because, otherwise, the petrol ECU would detect the interruption of the injectors and would recognize it as a malfunctioning.<br />
c. It closes the gas solenoid valves (within a maximum time of 5 seconds) in case of accidental arrest of the engine. This safety function is called “Safety Car.”<br />
   The Èlios ECU is made using high quality components specifically designed for the automotive market guaranteeing full electromagnetic compatibility to the UNECE R67-01 and R10-02 standards.<br />
   The electronic components of the gas ECU are contained in a reinforced polymeric resin case which forms a gas-tight protective shell. This shell suitable for being installed in the engine compartment.<br />
   The ECU software is installed in a non-volatile memory support (EPROM) which stores the programmed settings also when there is no electric supply.<br />
   The gas ECU is connected to the main wiring via a single airtight connector with an IP54  protection degree.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>La ECU gas (Electronic Control Unit, centralina elettronica) Èlios è il dispositivo elettronico che sovrintende a tutte le funzioni di controllo e gestione di tutti i singoli componenti dell’impianto.</p>

<p> Più in dettaglio alcune delle funzioni sono:<br />
a. Comandare il funzionamento degli elettroiniettori gas. I tempi di iniezione gas sono calcolati dalla ECU gas che li deriva dai corrispondenti tempi di iniezione benzina provenienti dalla ECU originaria. Quindi, la ECU gas imitando la ECU benzina, realizza il funzionamento master/slave dell’impianto GPL.<br />
b. Interrompere ed emulare il funzionamento degli iniettori benzina originari durante il funzionamento a gas nei confronti della ECU benzina. L’interruzione del funzionamento degli iniettori benzina è necessaria per impedire che durante il funzionamento a gas possa essere iniettata anche benzina. L’emulazione invece è necessaria perché la ECU benzina altrimenti rileverebbe l’interruzione degli iniettori e la classificherebbe come malfunzionamento.<br />
c. Provvedere alla chiusura delle elettrovalvole del gas (in un tempo di intervento di meno di 5 secondi) in caso di arresto accidentale del motore. Tale funzione di sicurezza è denominata Safety Car.<br />
   La ECU gas Èlios è realizzata con componenti di elevata qualità e specificamente progettati per il settore automotive garantendo la piena compatibilità elettromagnetica secondo le normative UNECE R67-01 e R10-02.<br />
   I componenti elettronici della ECU gas sono contenuti in un involucro di resina polimerica rinforzata, formante un guscio protettivo a tenuta stagna perfettamente adatto ad essere installato nel vano motore.<br />
   Il software della ECU gas è installato in un supporto di memoria non volatile (EPROM) per cui restano conservate le impostazioni programmate anche in assenza di alimentazione elettrica.<br />
   La ECU gas è collegata al cablaggio principale mediante un unico connettore stagno che garantisce una protezione di grado IP 54.</p>

The input connection of the electro-injector is realised via a connector to the tube coming from the vaporizer and the output connection via a nozzle calibrated to the tube connected to the intake manifold near the intake valve. The section of the nozzle exiting from the electro-injector is suitable chosen in relation to the engine’s specific power class.</p>

<p>The outer body of the electro-injector unit is made of diamagnetic materials, resistant to corrosion and temperatures typical of the engine compartment.<br />
The input connection of the electro-injector is realised via a connector to the tube coming from the vaporizer and the output connection via a nozzle calibrated  to the tube  connected to the intake manifold near the intake valve. The section of the nozzle exiting from the electro-injector is suitable chosen in relation to the engine’s specific power class.</p>

<p>The electro-injectors must be installed as close as possible to the branch of the manifold to feed using rubber tubes  of the same length and as short as possible.<br />
For this reason, the electro-injectors are grouped together in modules of two, three or four.<br />
   <br />
   They have a common base on which are mounted each electromagnet. The aluminium base contains a single gas inlet connected to a duct inside. The gas flows into each injector from this duct.<br />
   This base also contains the gas-tight compartments on which beat the shutters. The electricity is supplied via a connector integrated in the reel of each injector. The connectors are watertight and have a protection degree of IP54.</p>

<p>Per quanto riguarda la portata di GPL, l&#8217;iniettore viene invece prodotto in un&#8217;unica versione, già tarata in fabbrica,  su cui vengono montati dei raccordi portagomma calibrati per una regolazione precisa della stessa. Tali raccordi sono specifici per questo tipo di iniettore.</p>
<p>Le bobine hanno un connettore integrato 2 vie a tenuta stagna (IP54)  compatibile Amp/Delphi.</p>
<p>Il corpo iniettore è realizzato in materiale polimerico ad alta  resistenza meccanica e termica.</p>
<p>Sono caratterizzati da una notevole tolleranza ai depositi oleosi  rilasciati dal GPL associato a caratteristiche di facilità di  manutenzione e pulizia.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ELECTRONIC COMMUTATOR DCS-PLUS SERIES</p>
<p>The electronic commutator is computer programmed and is designed for ease of use and installation.<br />
It is available in two versions:<br />
DCS105 – for carburettor vehicles. This commutator is equipped with device “Safety-Car” that prevents opening of Lpg solenoid valve if engine turns off accidentally.<br />
DCS106 – for injection engines. The engine is started every time by gasoline and commutation to Lpg happens, automatically, overcoming the number of engine revolutions (rpm) settled during installation.  Connecting it to the sensor, it’s possible to see level of lpg in the tank by leds of the commutator.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>  The gasified LPG may contain suspended liquid impurities (oil, sludge, wax, etc) that cannot be eliminated by the liquid phase filter present in the LPG solenoid valve. These impurities may deposit themselves on the electro-injectors and compromise their correct functioning. To prevent this from happening, it is necessary to install a high-efficiency filter between the vaporizer and the electro-injectors to hold the impurities.</p>
<p>Two types of filters can be used: FJ301 and FJ101.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">    The FL301 filter has a mechanical action, and functions according to the principle of coalescence. The micro-drops of liquid impurities suspended in the gaseous LPG are slowed down as they pass through the cartridge filter and amalgamate to form macro-drops. These macro-drops precipitate by gravity and deposit on the bottom. When the accumulated impurities reduce the efficiency of the filter, it can be disassembled executing ordinary maintenance (internal cleaning and replacement of the used cartridge filter) to restore its efficiency.</p>

Queste impurità possono depositarsi sugli elettroiniettori e comprometterne il corretto funzionamento. Per evitare ciò è necessario installare, tra il riduttore e gli elettroiniettori, un filtro ad alta efficienza che trattenga tali impurità. I filtri utilizzati possono essere di due tipologie, tipo FJ301 e FJ101.</p>

Queste ultime precipitano per gravità raccogliendosi sul fondo. Quando le impurezze accumulate ne riducono l’efficienza, è possibile smontarlo, eseguire le ordinarie operazioni di manutenzione (pulizia interna e sostituzione della cartuccia filtrante esausta) per ripristinarne l’efficienza e rimontarlo.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The LAMBDA GAS ECOLOGIC SYSTEM (DL401) is full based on microprocessor and enables to set the air/fuel ratio on different engine conditions. It can be installed on cars with catalytic exhausts pipe.<br />
To minimise emissions and to obtain best performance, the control algorithm detects the best parameters to set motion and speed of the step-motor, in relation to the following factors:<br />
- engine type<br />
- mixer type<br />
- step-motor position<br />
- engine R.P.M.<br />
During warm-up of the oxygen sensor, the system is active and check of the air/fuel ratio starts when the oxygen sensor sends a correct signal. This way to activate the control, that’s not based only on elapsed time from engine start, solves ageing problems of oxygen sensor.<br />
The gas flow is regulated by a step-motor, without need of any adjuster screw to set the same.<br />
The system is adaptive and all data recorded during the calibration phase can be modified in relation to ageing of the engine and its components. This feature enables to maintain the right air/fuel ratio, sparing periodical mechanical calibrations.<br />
To obtain best performances, the system executes advanced checks (ex.: open-loop booster during acceleration phase).<br />
During calibration phase, the system detects work-area of the step-motor to prevent malfunctions of the oxygen sensor or other engine components.<br />
During this phase, it detects, automatically, the TPS even if the system can be installed on cars without TPS sensor. Moreover, the system provides a signal to simulate the oxygen sensor.</p>
<p>TESTER DT301</p>
<p>The tester, connected to the control unit of the system DL401, enables to set working of the same and to check it.</p>
